Following the very successful presentation in February 2013, ICE Dorchester is pleased to announce that its annual site visit will take place at the Anaerobic Digester Plant in Poundbury.
In November 2012, the Prince of Wales opened the country’s first full-scale Anaerobic Digester and Biomethane-to-Grid Plant, which provides renewable gas direct to the local community in Poundbury.
The plant is capable of providing enough renewable gas for 56,000 new-build houses in the summer and 4,000 in the winter and is the first plant in the UK to inject renewable gas directly into the local distribution network on a full-scale basis.
For further information on the plant please visit http://www.jvenergen.co.uk.
Please note that NUMBERS ARE LIMITED for this event. It is important to book a place using the 'book online' button below. No PPE has been requested.
