This event features a walk of a mile or so to view over 400ha of wetland being created by the Environment Agency and to be managed as a nature reserve by the Wildfowl & Wetland Trust.

Please bring PPE i.e. hard hat, safety footwear and reflective jacket for the site walk.

DIRECTIONS TO SITE: From centre of Cannington, travel north on road to Hinkley Point Power Station. Slow down on approaching bend at top of hill. After 3.1km (beware of fast oncoming traffic), take right turn signposted to Steart. Follow narrow road for 1.4km to junction with Stert Drove; here bear right and after 1km turn left into Team Van Oord car park and cabin complex.
