The Teign Crossing consists of a 90 metre long cable stayed footbridge over the River Teign. It joins with the new footpath/cycle way alongside Newton Abbot Racecourse, connecting with paths that it is hoped will eventually extend along the North bank of the River Teign to Teignmouth as part of the National Cycle Network.
The talk will cover the key points on the design to Eurocodes and the challenges involved in its construction.
