The best way to book is to complete the Novotel booking form or the Sofitel booking form. The completed forms should be sent to the respective hotels by email or fax.
Note that Novotel rates are 110 € single, 120 € double and for Sofitel 130 € single, 145 € double. Parking is free.
PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT NOVOTEL IS THE PREFERRED HOTEL FOR ELAC PARTICIPANTS.
40 rooms at Novotel and 10 rooms at Sofitel have been reserved for ELAC attendees until approximately the end of March, after which date there may be no more rooms available. If there are still rooms available, they should still have the preferential tariffs.
If necessary, the Melia Hotel – which is an approximately 5-10 minute walk from the conference venue – has rates of 120 € single and 130 € double, and rooms may be reserved until the end of March. The 18th European Local Association Conference (ELAC) will be held in Luxembourg, 9-13 May 2013. The theme of the conference will be 'Luxembourg through the ages'.
Programme:
Thursday Registration and welcome cocktail. Evening free.
Friday All day Conference / Partners’ tour / Dinner.
Saturday ICE meeting (morning) / Gala Dinner.
Sunday All day tour in Luxembourg. Evening free.
Monday Technical visits (morning), lunch and close.
Conference venue:
Novotel, Kirchberg
The 4* Novotel has excellent conference facilities and is a 10 minute taxi journey from the airport (also served by bus to the town centre and airport).
Special all inclusive rate: 110 € night single, 120 € night double (breakfast included)
Other nearby hotels offering reduced ELAC rates are the Sofitel Kirchberg and the Melia.
Please note that the hotel rooms will be kept for ELAC participants until the end of March after which date the tariff will remain as agreed but the rooms cannot be guaranteed – so you are advised to book early.

Registration and costs:
A contribution to the costs of 120 €/person is requested for the programme. This should be paid in cash (in Euros) at registration. For those attending only a single day’s events a reduced rate of 60 €/person shall be applied, and partners attending only a dinner will be charged 45€.
