This half day seminar is aimed at all those working towards ICE Membership by selfmanaging their Initial Professional Development, and their mentors.
This includes:
- Graduates who are not on an ICE approved company training scheme
- Qualified and experienced engineers who are seeking ICE membership
- Career Appraisal (CA) candidates starting or part-way through their CA submission
- Mentors (including SCEs and DEs) who need to understand this route to membership.

- Outline and purpose of the Career appraisal Route.
- The Career Appraisal package.
- How to satisfy the Development Objectives.
- Report purposes and content.
- The application process and outcomes.
This module does not cover Company Approved Training Schemes and is not suitable for those experienced candidates taking the Technical Report route. It does not include preparation for the Professional Review. Separate training modules are available for these.
