This half day seminar is aimed at engineers with several years experience seeking professional level ICE Membership but who lack the appropriate qualification for the grade of membership they are seeking to achieve.
This includes:
- ICE members wishing to progress to a higher membership grade than they currently hold.
- Graduates whose qualifications are not accredited and who for personal reasons cannot undertake additional academic study.
- Experienced practising engineers who have few if any academic qualifications.
- It is also appropriate for Mentors (including SCEs and DEs) who wish to encourage their staff towards professional recognition via this route.
Featuring expert speakers this module covers:
- Outline and purpose of the Technical Report Route
- The ICE supporting documents
- Description of the demonstration of technical ability
- Attributes for each grade of membership
- Report purposes and content
- The application process, timescales and outcomes.
This module is not suitable for those whose qualifications entitle them to apply for membership via the normal Professional Review process, whether via a Company Approved Training Scheme or a Career Appraisal.
