The presentation will outline the mix of market, regulatory and consenting parameters that have set the scene surrounding the investment case for new nuclear power plant construction in the UK.
The current progress on Hinkley Point ‘C’ European Pressurised Reactor (EPR) will be discussed and the near term view for construction and investment explored. Aspects impacting the site specific application of the standard EPR will be reviewed and the nature of the organisation necessary to deliver such projects considered.
