Speaker: Geoff Inskip, Centro Chief Executive

Geoff has 25 years’ experience in the finance, rail and public transport sectors. He took up the position as Chief Executive of Centro, the Transport Authority for the West Midlands,  in October 2006 to develop transport solutions aimed at attracting passengers out of their cars.
 

Geoff has made a huge contribution to transforming the light rail industry in the UK and helping getting Trams back onto the Government’s agenda. Geoff’s contribution was recognised by the light rail industry with an award for “Campaigner of the Year” at the national Light Rail Awards.
 

During the past 5 years Geoff has been a driving force in setting up and getting the go-ahead to deliver a £1.3bn transport package underpinning economic regeneration in the West Midlands.
 

Come along to hear Geoff talk about how this major infrastructure project is being delivered and the future for integrated transport in Birmingham.
