Buffet and a free drink provided
This informal get together is aimed at students to find out about civil engineering, career paths and the work of the Institution of Civil Engineers. This event is an opportunity for students to gain advice and guidance from civil engineering graduates in the industry, on life after graduation, and a basic introduction as to what working in Civil Engineering entails.
The evening will comprise a series of several short presentations by graduates from consultants, contractors, and clients, followed by an opportunity for relaxed informal discussions between students and graduate engineers.
There will be a buffet and drinks available, and it is hoped that students will engage in discussion with the graduates, as this is where the most benefit is gained.
This event is open to any engineering students in 1st or 2nd year, as well as final year civil engineering students, and ICE membership is not a requirement.
