The Forth Replacement Crossing is Scotland’s biggest infrastructure project in a generation. Since late 2007, when approval was given to proceed with the project, design development, authorisation and procurement have been rapidly progressed allowing construction to start in 2011.
This presentation will provide an update on the various stages and aspects of the project which includes the 2.7km long cable stayed bridge, associated road connections and Intelligent Transport System. In particular, it will provide an update on the current construction works for this £1.45-£1.6Bn project which remains on target for completion in 2016.
Refreshments from 5.30pm, lecture from 6.15pm.
