COME AND JOIN IN THE DEBATE - GOOD HECKLERS REQUIRED!
The Competition
The competition is a role-play public consultation exercise. Each team will make a presentation at a “public meeting” before an audience. The presentation will be of an engineering or infrastructure project or issue, chosen by each team from a range of five subjects.
The presentation, which may be wholly or partly on PowerPoint, will last a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 23 minutes and, on completion of each formal presentation, the team will be required to answer questions, respond to comments from the floor and / or judges.
Teams will put their powers of persuasion to the test . Each team will present a case, as if to a public enquiry and can expect a hard ride from the audience.
This promises to be a highly entertaining evening and is open to all, especially good hecklers!
