This major highway improvement scheme extends along the A164 between the A15 roundabout on the north side of the Humber Bridge and the A1079 Jocks Lodge Junction on the southern outskirts of Beverley.

The route, carrying up to 35,000 vehicles a day forms part of the East Riding of Yorkshire Councils Primary Route Network, and links to the A63/M62, A15 and A1079, which are part of the Regional strategic route network.

The presentation will discuss the processes and challenges involved in bringing the scheme into fruition including the Department for Transport Approval process, procurement using the YORcivil framework and the construction the scheme along this heavily trafficked route.
