From awards submissions to tenders, the principles for getting the right message across are the same. It’s not about luck or whether the project you are entering is the most innovative thing ever. It’s about substance, clear communication and answering the question.
Winning awards is good for business. They look good in reception, and are good for persuading prospective customers that you know what you are doing and they should trust you to work for them.
So how can you be better at winning awards and more importantly winning more work? This half-day workshop will help anyone who is involved in preparing and presenting tenders and awards submissions to:
- Complete a successful application form
- Deliver compelling presentations
- Exploit business opportunities from achieving finalist and winning status
The Constructing Excellence awards team will also provide insight into the awards criteria and some tips and guidance on what the judges look for in an industry awards competition.
ICE South East England's Engineering Excellence Awards close for entries on Wednesday 27th March 2013, and the Constructing Excellence Awards close on Monday 11th March, so delegates will have plenty of time to apply their new skills to their awards submission.

Importantly, the skills and techniques gained from this workshop are relevant and useful in everyday business development and will increase success when bidding for work.
Cost of workshop: £100 + VAT
