The Graduate and Student Papers Competition (GSPC) encourages graduate and student members of ICE to submit a paper on any civil engineering related topic. It is a chance for Graduates and Students to showcase their talent for communicating civil engineering ideas and research and increase their confidence in public speaking.

The finals aways produce a great variety of presentations on a wide variety of topics, and the South Branch final this year is no exception, so why not come and enjoy the presentation megamix! This year's three presentations are:

Construction of Low Cost Structures for Micro-Hydroelectric Systems
By Sakthy Selvakumaran of Ramboll

Assessment of transmission tower foundation systems
By Frederick Levy from the University of Southampton

A comparative study of current civil engineering contracts in use in the UK
By Greg Wall of Osborne
