Speakers: Kate Cairns, ICE NE Sustainability Panel Chair, Director, CEEQUAL Ltd
Jonathan Coffey, Sunderland Strategic Transport Corridor (SSTC) Project Manager
The prestigious and newsworthy new bridge, on the Wear adjacent to the A19, will be a major landmark to the North East. This Sunderland project will be used as a case study for CEEQUAL, the Sustainability Scheme for civil engineering projects.
This talk will explain the CEEQUAL philosophy, methodology and benefits. The scheme delivers improved project specification, design, construction and operation and subsequently rewards the clients, designers and contractors.
This lecture will be aimed at students, highway, civil and bridge engineers and anyone interested in sustainability.
