The Branch AGM will be followed by the OES event 'Corrosion Failures'.
The old adage of "if you're not making mistakes – you're not working" will be shown to be on the mark in this highly illustrated presentation. It will investigate a variety of common mistakes (corrosion related) found in offshore projects. Several examples will cover topside design issues as well as common errors made in subsea system design. Each example will be presented in a light hearted format with root causes and recommended fixes analyzed, and hopefully will provide valuable lessons and a few smiles.
