Presentation by Duncan Cooper CMIOSH MIIRSM DipSM RMaPS.
Duncan is a director with Callsafe Services Ltd, Chartered Safety Practitioner and Registered CDM co-ordinator, having started work in the Armed Forces (Royal Engineers) initially as a carpenter then later, after a period at college, as a civil engineering design team leader. Duncan has subsequently worked with contractors design organisations and in consultancy. He is currently seconded to the Environment Agency as CDM co-ordinator for Anglian Region and chair of the National CDM co-ordinator forum.
Duncan’s presentation will focus on designing for safety, identifying construction, operation and maintenance hazards and practical examples of mitigation.
