The Sheffield City Region Transport Strategy was published in April 2011 and covers a 15 year period from 2011 to 2026. The strategy covers the transport agenda for the whole of South Yorkshire as well as parts of the East Midlands which have strong economic links with South Yorkshire.
The strategy is now reaching the end of its first year of the implementation, Yaron Hollander, the Strategy and Policy Manager for the South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive will provide an overview of some initial successes and the remaining challenges the strategy faces in delivering transport improvements in the city region. The presentation will also explore some of the key items on the agenda for the second year of implementation.
