Professor Gordon Masterton is an Honorary Professor at Glasgow Caledonian University and is Vice President of Jacobs Engineering Group and Former President of the Institution of Civil Engineers. Gordon was made an honorary Doctor of Technology in 2007 on account of significant contributions to the work of the University's School of the Built and Natural Environment over many years. Gordon was also awarded an OBE for services to Civil Engineering in Scotland in the Queens Birthday Honours list 2008.
