The Tour of the Old Dock

Join us on a free, expert guided tour of Liverpool’s historic Old Dock, the world’s first commercial enclosed wet dock.
The tour will give a unique insight into Liverpool’s historic importance as a major port. Built in 1715 and buried beneath the city’s streets since 1826, the dock was discovered by archaeologists in 2001 and has now been preserved beneath the Liverpool One shopping centre.
Arrive at 6:15 for 6:20 pm
Meet us at the bottom of the Grand Staircase by the Hilton Hotel in Liverpool One
