This half day Seminar is intended for those who wish to gain an Introduction to Building Information Modelling and its Applications. It is relevant for ICE Development Objective C1, Plan for effective project implementation.
The fee is £20 + VAT (£24) which will include afternoon tea.
The Seminar will feature 3 speakers:
• Mark Danso-Amoako, PhD, MSc, BSc of School of Civil Engineering and Surveying, University of Portsmouth will give a presentation on introduction to Building Information Modelling (BIM) and its applications. The presentation will focus on the “I” in BIM. He will demonstrate how various members of the project team can extract information from a BIM model to perform further analysis in the respective fields.
• Steve Ollington, of Mott MacDonald will give a presentation based on an example of a project from inception through to construction.
• 3rd speaker to be confirmed.
