Our speakers for this event are:
Gary Grant and Lutz Johnen:
Gary is an independent ecologist with 30 years of experience. He is an expert on green roofs and living walls. He has written two books on the subject, 'Green Roofs and Façades' (2006) and 'Ecosystem Services Come to Town: Greening Cities by Working with Nature' (2012) as well as co-authoring a number of other publications such as the 'UK Rain Garden Guide'. He will share his experience of working closely with built-environment professionals to promote the use of Green Roofs and their benefits.
Lutz Johnen is the MD of Aquality Trading & Consulting Ltd which he founded in 2004 to introduce greywater recycling and rainwater harvesting technologies to the UK market. Lutz sits on the committee responsible for determining the British Standards for both greywater recycling (BS 8525) and rainwater harvesting (BS 8515). Lutz will share his more than 15 years’ experience advising engineers and architects on water system designs.
The presentations will be followed by a Question and Answer session.
