Refreshments will be provided from 18.00 and the Competition will start at 18.30.
The ICE Communications Competition is a chance for young engineers to present their solutions to fictional engineering problems at a ‘public’ meeting.
The teams will play the role of the ‘experts’, but we need audience members to come along and play the part of the ‘public’, putting the ‘experts’ on the spot and making them think on their feet.
The presentation evenings are usually lively and unpredictable events, just like real life public meetings!
So whether you fancy yourself as a little old lady worried about the view from her cottage, or a van driver who think he’s suddenly going to find his usual delivery route blocked by construction traffic, why not come along and join in the fun!
If you would like to know more about the entry conditions for the Competition, please use the link here.
If you'd like to come along to the event, please use the Book Online facility. Note that you do not need to be an ICE members to use the system. Once you’ve followed the link, choose “Register Now”. You will be required to supply your name, email address, postal address date of birth and a password. When the formalities are completed, you’ll be able to book for this and any other ICE meetings that are of interest to you. In case of any problems, please contact Anne Qualters or t 0208 663 9027.
