Time 18:00 - 20:00
Event Type Associated Society

As many will have seen in the press, London Underground is celebrating 150 years since the opening of the Metropolitan Line. Not only is the Metropolitan Line important to the history of modern transport, but it is home to one of Europe’s largest train maintenance depots. With the introduction of the new air-conditioned ‘S-Stock’, a major upgrade of Neasden Depot has been quietly progressing and is now approaching a significant delivery milestone.

This presentation will cover the history and technical challenges facing this huge civil upgrade.

There is no charge for this meeting and all are welcomed.

Tea and Coffee will be served from 17:30hrs.

If you have any queries, please contact Greg James, RCEA Secretary, on 0207 665 2229 or at greg.james@ice.org.uk
