Tottenham Court Road is benefiting from major transport investment, including an interchange with the new Crossrail station and a rebuilt Tube station. The changes being made will bring many advantages to train passengers, as well as those who live and work in the area. These benefits include:
• A new, larger ticket hall, 6 times the size of the existing one
• New entrances and a public plaza outside Centre Point
• Installation of 8 new escalators
• New access to the Northern and Central line platforms to reduce congestion
• Accessibility improvements making the station fully MIP compliant throughout
• Passengers will also benefit from safety and ambience improvements
Our speaker will be Chris Usher, Project Director at Taylor Woodrow BAM Nuttall JV.
