The presentation will summarise Tata Steel's role at Kings Cross Station as the lead designer for all of the works within the grade 1 listed historic main train shed. The work included the construction of a new platform and track, refurbishment of the existing platforms, construction of a new glass footbridge with lifts and escalators and refurbishment of the main train shed roof, all while keeping the trains running!

This will be of particular interest to graduates preparing for MPR, CPR, and CPRP. Subjects to be discussed will be those that could feature in written exercises at a Professional Review. In addition to the knowledge gained from discussion, members of the group will also have the opportunity to write an answer under review conditions.
This course has been designed to provide helpful advice and guidance for delegates preparing to sit their Chartered or Incorporated Professional Review. It is primarily, although not exclusively, intended for candidates for the Spring & Autumn 2013 reviews.
In his first presentation at the Institution of Civil Engineers since taking up the role of Government Chief Construction Adviser, Peter Hansford, the former ICE President will outline his main agenda and priorities for the coming year.
