Eurocode 7 introduces greater discipline in having to think more explicitly about the many sources of uncertainty in geotechnical design and offers great flexibility at the same time as increased rigour.

This intensive 1 day course provides a thorough introduction to Eurocode 7. An overview of the Eurocode suite is also given, clarifying geotechnical design in the context of Eurocode-led design approaches.

The course is highly interactive with numerous worked examples and tutorials based on practical design problems. Delegate participation is actively encouraged throughout.

The tutor
The tutor is a chartered civil engineer with extensive experience of civil, structural and geotechnical design, including practical use of Eurocode 7. He has worked in the UK and overseas for major consultants, contractors and joint venture operations.

Cost: £280 ex. VAT which includes all materials, refreshments and lunch.
