In 2014, Panama will celebrate 100 years since the opening of the Panama Canal, which is also undergoing a US$5.5bn expansion programme.
The ICE Americas Convention is intended to provide a forum for knowledge sharing, discussion and networking, bringing together engineers from across the region and is open to both ICE members and non-members.
Attendees will be able to meet and interact with local and international industry leaders and to see the major infrastructure developments in Panama and the region. Apart from covering the engineering behind the current and expanded canal, the wider theme of the convention will focus on “Infrastructure for Growth”.
Exact dates and venue to be confirmed in due course.
