ICE Wales Cymru North Wales Branch, IMechE and the Nuclear Institute are very pleased to host a double presentation from Alan Smith, Head of Site Development from Horizon Nuclear Power, and John Idris Jones, Anglesey Energy Island Programme Director.
The Wylfa presentation sets out to explain the journey that we have gone through from 2007 to present day and will cover the drivers for nuclear investment, the sale of Horizon to Hitachi, the project development work undertaken to date, the challenges and opportunities moving forward and an opportunity to ask questions. An overview and update will also be given of the Energy Island Programme.
