ICEWILA are pleased to announce the scheduling of Seminar #2 entitled "Becoming Chartered: A Caribbean Perspective". The keynote speaker will be Mr. Don Samuel.

Don Samuel is a Chartered Engineer and has been the Honorary Secretary of the ICE West Indies Local Association for the past 3 years. He has been a practicing Civil Engineer for the past ten years. He is currently the Facilities Manager at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus.

His experience has been mainly in the design and project management of building and infrastructure projects. In addition to being Chartered, he holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, a Masters degree in Construction Management and the Project Management Professional (PMP) qualification. He is a Registered Engineer with the Board of Engineering of Trinidad and Tobago and is currently pursuing a PhD in Construction Management at the University of the West Indies in the field of Risk Management. He is also mentoring five candidates in preparation for the ICE's Chartered Professional Review.
