ICE North East’s ‘Bridges to Schools’ programme has been hugely successful engaging with over 3,200 young people in 2012. Join ICE President Barry Clarke and discuss the importance of engaging with students to promote Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) subjects and inspiring young engineers of tomorrow.

This workshop will discuss:

  • the future plans for the region’s under 19 activities;
  • plan to increase engagement with volunteers for the bridge kit;
  • possible ways to measure the success of the bridge kit.

Meet ICE President Barry Clarke face-to-face and have your questions answered on the future of the industry and the importance of collaboration with education establishments and under 19 year olds.
This is your chance to have your say and help to shape the under 19 activity in the region.

This event is organised by Graduate, Technician and Student members of ICE. Members of ICE, friends and
colleagues of members are also welcome to attend.
