The London 2012 Games provided an unparalleled opportunity to test both established and new methods of working that can be applied to other large scale regeneration and development projects. The methods used by the ODA helped to create an inspirational Olympic Park with a lasting legacy on time and on budget.

This lecture series will build on the lessons of the London 2012 Games, share best practice to show how this approach could be applied to benefits future projects.
This event looks at major infrastructure projects and will include:
- How infrastructure works together incorporating sustainability, transport. Waste collection, waste processing, water management, energy supply and communications
- Infrastructure at the heart of communities
- Is Traffic Infrastructure a blessing or a curse? With reference to HS2, Cross Rail, and the Thames Estuary Airport.
- How BIM smooths the way for major infrastructure projects.
