Event Type Meeting

The Marine Management Organisation (MMO) was established in 2010 to make a significant contribution to sustainable development in the marine environment and to promote the UK government’s vision for clean, healthy, safe, productive and biologically diverse oceans and seas.
The MMO is responsible for determining and granting consent under the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009 and controlling the environmental, navigational, human health and other impacts of construction, deposits and removals in the marine area.
The presentation, given by Angus Radford (MMO Marine Area Manager, South East) will cover the MMO’s role in Planning and Licencing under the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009 and provide an informative overview of the structure and procedures of this key industry partner.
