The £200 million Southwater Development is set to transform an area of Telford Town Centre which runs from the Shopping Centre down to The International Centre – creating a definitive high street with a new Southwater Square and incorporating linkages to the Town Park. Hear Kate Turner from Telford Town Council talk about the development. The event has been organised by ICE Shropshire Group and IHT Mercia Branch.

A tour of this historic corn mill at Asterley near Shrewsbury which has been restored by Peter Lewis, former Highways Chief Engineer and Head of Consultancy at Shropshire County Council. The mill is a rare example of a clockwise mill, possibly built by Hazeldine, Telford's ironmaster. The tour will be followed by a picnic in a nearby field.
