The Annual Dinner of the ICE North East region will be held at the Marriott Hotel, Gosforth Park, Newcastle upon Tyne on Thursday 18 April 2013. This is one of the key events of the civil engineering calendar and coincides with ICE President Barry Clarke’s visit to the North East. The evening brings together a huge range of industry professionals and influencers and is an excellent opportunity to network, enjoy fine food and listen to distinguished guest speakers. Following the dinner, ICE President Barry Clarke, will present the Robert Stephenson Awards.

ICE Representative for Germany Hamish Douglas has organised a visit to the Ahrental Tunnel. The meeting point will the BBT Infopoint im Hauptbahnhof in Innsbruck at 10:30. We will transfer by bus to the site area for an explanatory talk by members of the planning and construction teams.
The group will return by bus to Innsbruck and for those interested, we will organise lunch and a tour of the Old CIty.

Teams of up to seven players are invited to attend at a subsidised cost of £80 per team. Student teams can participate at the reduced fee of £70 per team. At least two team players must be ICE members.

ICE Hong Kong will hold three CPR workshops on 20th, 22nd & 23rd April to prepare candidates for the Professional Review to be held in Hong Kong in September. Each workshop will outline the philosophy and details of the Professional Review, will consider strategies for success and will reflect on the reasons why some candidates are unsuccessful.
