Engineering without Frontiers (EwF) was set up in Dec 2003 as an ICE Presidential Commission. It is chaired by Paul Jowitt, and has the following remit: What does society expect of an engineer in the 21st century? What are the critical activities to address caring for Earth and meeting the Millennium Development Goals? How can these ambitions be integrated with those of (ICE) organisations already involved and especially ADP, RedR and our Boards?
