This 2007 report is a follow-up to the ICE and IMechE report, 'The case for a resource management strategy', published in 2006. It calls for a move away from a focus on 'waste mangement' towards a plan to put in place the organisation and infrastructure needed for resources to be better used at every stage of their lives, from design and use, to recovery and reprocessing. This document details how to deliver a resource management strategy. See also 'The case for a resource management strategy'.
