ICE & AECOM Joint Lecture on Sustainability

Document type: | Last updated: 21 JUNE 2012

Sustainable travel and transport are central to any strategy for investment in a low-carbon future. But to achieve this, do we need a complete rethink of our existing systems and infrastructure, or can we re-engineer what we have? Do we even know what a sustainable global transportation system looks like? And how can progress be measured?

On Wednesday 20 June 2012, Gary Lawrence, a globally recognised expert on sustainability and Chief Sustainability Officer for AECOM, debated the future of travel and transportation with Joanna Yarrow of environmental consultancy Beyond Green. The debate forms part of AECOM’s research into the future of travel.
