'Never waste a good crisis' - presentation given on Tuesday 15th February 2011

The latest report from Constructing Excellence, “Never Waste a Good Crisis”, chaired by Andrew Wolstenholme, reviewed progress in the industry since the 1998 Egan Report, Rethinking Construction. The report identifies blockers to change and the key challenge of how we can deliver a built environment that supports the creation of a high value, low carbon economy. The current economic crisis is the perfect opportunity for us to restart the process and create a built environment sector this country deserves. Don draws on this report to make the case for collaborative and lean working as even more necessary in the tough times ahead.
