Critical infrastructure powers the nation. We are ever more reliant on the transport networks, flood defences, power stations and water systems which enable modern life to run safely and smoothly. As the interdependency between infrastructure and society increases, so does the risk that the destruction of just one piece of critical infrastructure could have catastrophic and cascading consequences on society, cities, communities and individuals.
