This is the fifth year the competition has been run. It is not a competition about photography skills but about finding images that we can use to raise the profile of the profession and help the public understand civil engineering. The judging panel includes the two Graduate & Student Committee Chairs - Josh Brown (Cambs/Essex/Norfolk/Suffolk) and Ed John (Hertfordshire/Bedfordshire). And two professional photographers - Ian Miles of Flashpoint Photography and Simon Barber of Si Barber Photography. Both have extensive experience in news and commercial photography. All vote remotely without conferring allocating marks out of 10 for each picture. The aggregate score delivers the winning image.
