Social and economic change has placed new pressures and problems on residential streets. This report aims to help residents, engineers and other professionals make residential streets attractive, pleasant and functional living environments. Advice is provided on forming partnerships, funding, tackling parking and other nuisance problems. The report was published by the ICE on behalf of the Urban Design Alliance in 2000.
