The Hydro in Glasgow is a world class arena development by the Scottish Exhibition & Conference Centre, which will position Scotland at the forefront of the global events and entertainment industry. The 12,500 seater arena is situated on a 62 acre site and forms part of the masterplan for the SECC "village", providing purpose built exhibition space, 3000 seat conference centre, international concert and Commonwealth Games venue.
The presentation is given by Ian Lumsden, an Associate at Arup who has led the civil/structural design of this innovative and iconic project.
