Reduced Rates

If you are a Member, Retired Member or prospective member and you are currently unable to afford the full fee, you may be eligible for a reduction to the fees you are asked to pay.

Reduced Subscription Fee

Members who are unable to afford the full membership subscription fee may be eligible for a temporary reduction, which includes full entitlement to journals. This reduction is available to those whose income is £12,000 or less per annum but must be applied for on an annual basis in case your circumstances change.

Retired Member Subscription Fee

IICE members are entitled to a retired rate of subscription if they are aged 60 or over as of 1st January 2013, have retired from full time employment on that date and are earning no more than £12,000 per annum from any employment

Reduced Entrance Fee

Members who have recently been admitted into the Institution as a Member, Fellow or Companion and are required to pay the ICE entrance fee may be eligible for a reduction if their income is £8,000 or less per annum from any employment .

To claim the Reduced ICE Entrance fee you must complete the Reduced ICE Entrance Fee claim form (sub6) and email it to subs@ice.org.uk once you have received your welcome letter.



Benevolent Fund

The Benevolent Fund of the Institution of Civil Engineers exists to provide advice, support and financial assistance to the needy and distressed who are either current or past Members (all grades) of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE). The charity also helps dependants of such members.
