This award provides financial support of up to £1,500 for ICE members returning to full or part time education.
The aim of the award is to support ICE members wanting to return to study in management or technical subjects. It is not designed to fund courses that will be used as Further Learning for membership of ICE.
Am I eligible?
- You must be an ICE Graduate or professionally qualified member
- You must have been a member of ICE for at least two years
- You must have at least two years industry experience
- Your course must not be an ICE accredited Further Learning programme. (To find out if your course is accredited visit www.jbm.org.uk)
- You cannot have more than a total of three ICE QUEST scholarships and/or awards. If you are a previous award recipient there must be a lapse of one year before applying again
- Student members and PhD students are not eligible to apply

How do i apply?
1. Complete an ICE QUEST Continuing Education Award application form and email it to quest.cea@ice.org.uk
2. Arrange for an ICE QUEST Continuing Education Award reference form to be completed by your employer or someone suitable and emailed to quest.cea@ice.org.uk
3. Provide a record detailing your employment history (maximum one page) and email it to quest.cea@ice.org.uk
All applications will be acknowledged and applicants will then be told when to expect to hear the result of their application.
How will successful applicants be chosen?
All applications are reviewed by the QUEST Committee, who will consider the following:
- Academic merit
- Likely future relevance
- Benefit of proposed course
- Financial situation
The committees’ decision is final and feedback to unsuccessful individuals unfortunately can not be given.
