ICE is looking for an experienced engineer to deliver the QUEST G Haider Scholarship lecture to a group of civil engineering students from Lahore’s University of Engineering and Technology (UET) next year.
A former student of UET Lahore and an ICE Fellow, Mr Ghulam Haider, has generously provided funding for the scholarship since 2003. The scholarship is awarded annually to three promising first-year civil engineering students in financial hardship, to support them for the remainder of their course.
Another benefit for the scholarship students is the opportunity to attend the annual lecture from an engineer with international experience.
If you are an engineer who travels through and/or is working on a significant project in the Pakistan or North India area and is interested in delivering the 2013 lecture, we’d be delighted to hear from you.
