Changes to the Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) Review
The Society of the Environment (SocEnv), has recently completed a review and revision of the Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) standard. The changes primarily affect the eligibility criteria for the CEnv attribute.
The new criteria are:
- Relevant master’s level degree or equivalent level of knowledge
- Relevant and practical experience to demonstrate the competences
- Underpinning environmental knowledge and an ability to apply it in practice
Updated information will be available from 1 February 2013 and the changes will take effect from 1 March 2013.
If you would like to make a CEnv application before the changes start, please use the following timeline as a guide:
31 November – submission of IPD
21 December – result of IPD assessment
15 January – last date for receiving CEnv applications
