The Benevolent Fund has teamed up with a firm of independent financial advisors (IFAs)who can provide free advice to any ICE member, or dependant of an ICE member who needs financial support.
Typically a programme with an IFA can cover all or some of the following:
- Managing debt – advice on repayments, prioritising liabilities and negotiating with creditors on your behalf
- Budgeting – how to manage your daily income and expenditure
- Credit cards – how to make the best use of credit and avoid penalties
- Equity release – is this desirable and appropriate for you?
