Entries for this year's ICE SW Civil Engineering Project of the Year Awards 2012 are now being received!
Have you recently completed a project to be proud of?
Would you like the chance to showcase this project?
Here is a chance to do just that.
The objective of the award is to recognise construction projects completed in the last calendar year (2011) within the South West area of particular merit, physical achievement, innovation or ingenuity which promotes the excellence of the engineering profession.
The size or cost of the works will not be considered in the criteria, however two categories of prizes will be awarded; Small Projects – below £1m and Large Projects – over £1m.
The Criteria
• Design - concept, originality, suitability, maintenance and ingenuity
• Construction – economy, quality, performance, safety and ease of construction
• Research and Development – improvement in design and construction methods and use of materials
• Environmental considerations – increase quality of life
Deadline for Nominations:
12 noon on Monday 30 April 2012
