East of England Graduate makes National Graduate and Student Papers Final

Oliver Neve, who won the regional heat back in March, has been invited to present his paper at The 2011 Graduate and Student Paper Competition (GSPC) final.

Finalists from two other regions, James Cox at the University of Bristol (South West) and Andrea Charlson from Arup (London) will also be presenting at the final to be held at University of Glamorgan on 21 June 2011.

The finalists will be presenting their papers and taking questions on their work at the final. The papers that will be presented are:

■ Cox: Long term dynamics of offshore structures, founded on suction caissons
■ Charlson: Counting Carbon: Practical Approaches to Life Cycle Assessment in Façade Engineering
■ Neve: Shaking up dance floor design with timber concrete composites

We would like to invite you to attend the final on the 21 June 2011, 6.00 - 8.00pm. It is being held in the Johnstown Building, University of Glamorgan and complimentary refreshments and sandwiches will be served from 5.30pm.
